The Dreyfuss (Millar/Jay) Affair

I think it's time to share a little about my zany family. After many years i've learned to sweep the embarrassment under the rug and accept the sometimes ridiculous antics of my fam. Here goes the blackmail.

Fargo is the head of the household and does his part to keep the family close. He's 12 years old but you would never guess it.

He leads a pretty stressful life...

They were reenacting my wisdom teeth surgery. Not very funny if you ask me.

Gah! The amaaazing view from the roof of my dad's welding shop in Alameda. It was so cloudy but there is usually a panoramic view of San Francisco and the Oakland/Berkeley Hills.

Okay Let's Go 2010

I guess I should start by saying happy new year! 2009 was great but I am ready to take on the challenges of a new year. I hope to push myself harder and further than I ever have before. You can find me searching for inspiration and creativity in every crack and corner. Expect big things :) In my current insomniac state, it's no surprise that instead of sleeping I am searching for new images and ideas. In doing so, I've stumbled across some that have made an impression on me. Planet Tozer creates this images sans filter or manipulation which is pretty incredible.

The world suddenly seems so small when I realized I can't tell the difference between our earth, and a soapy bubble. The relativity is all around and it only takes some imagination to see it. As always, enjoy.

Digital splatter is an interesting concept; releasing your emotions and ideas through the click of a button... I'm not so sure it's for me but it is a fun way to feel like Mr. Pollock himself. Minus the mess of course :) The colored images don't show as much depth as the black and white but I had to try it all. Click to enlarge and enjoy.

Ahh nothing is more frustrating than a file not converting to the original but this is the best I can do. Just a simple background made using blur and paint techniques. Many more to come.

I want these so badly. A pair of paper sunglasses to really protect my retinas. Julien De Repentigny has some more amazing and visually pleasing works.

A Family Affair

Here is my final video project. This second draft is completely different from the one I thought I would turn in. It was last minute but I like it so much more than the original. My brother created the original music, which I then warped, reserved, and stretched to get the effects you will hear. Made in FinalCutPro and SountrackPro.

I've never been that good about keeping a sketchbook. For this very purpose I've kept most of my notebooks from class. They've aided me through boring classes and led to some of my favorite graphic designs concepts. Here are only a few. Click to enlarge if you wish.Technology as a bridge. I guess.
